Metro Gold Line

The Metro is a convenient option for neighborhood hopping along the Gold Line, with its seven stops from South Pasadena Station to Sierra Madre Villa. Rideshare services are also quick and plentiful in the region. Cycling outfitters like INCYCLE Bicycles offer affordable bike rentals—taking the scenic spin around the 3.3-mile Arroyo Seco Rose Bowl Loop is an awesome addition to any itinerary.

Arriving to Pasadena early?

  • Check out the Rose Bowl Flea Market happening on Sunday, April 10th! 
  • Take part in a free Huntington Garden tour (Depending on COVID-19 Suspensions) which are held Wednesday - Monday during every week.


Staying in Pasadena after the conference?

  • Catch a show! Celine Dion's Courage tour takes place at the Staples Center on Thursday, April 14th & Friday, April 15th. 
  • Catch a ball! The Los Angeles Dodgers are playing the Cincinnati Reds at Dodger Stadium on Friday, April 15th. 



Spring in Pasadena averages with highs of 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit, and lows in the low-50s. We recommend wearing layered clothing to accommodate the difference in temperature from the indoor Conference venue and bringing a light jacket for cooler evenings.

2022 HCSRN Safety and COVID-19

The health and safety of our attendees is a top priority. The HCSRN Conference Committee is closely monitoring guidance from the CDC as well as federal, state and local authorities regarding COVID-19 protocols and precautions. We will keep registrants informed on all health and safety measures and requirements for attendance as new recommendations arise ahead of the event April 12-14, 2022.
