2022 HCSRN Conference

Meeting Health & Safety Protocols

As of 3/17/22

The safety and well-being of HCSRN members, our colleagues and other Conference attendees is a top priority. As of March 4, California’s Governor dropped the mask mandate and because of LA County’s “low risk” community level status, the City of Pasadena is no longer requiring masking in (most) public indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status.

While the City of Pasadena, including the Pasadena Convention Center, no longer requires mask-wearing, HCSRN encourages Conference registrants, presenters and volunteers to wear N95 or KN95 masks indoors unless actively eating or drinking. There is no vaccination requirement to attend the HCSRN Conference, but you are highly encouraged to help protect yourself and others.

  • Be prepared to show proof of your vaccination record and photo identification at those area venues (i.e., restaurants, shops) that require it.
  • Do NOT attend if feeling ill or if you have had recent exposure to COVID-19.
  • Pack N95 or KN95 masks!
  • Practice frequent hand washing and minimizing face touching.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or with your elbow
  • Socially distance whenever possible.
