Submission Information
HCSRN 2022 will offer concurrent sessions for both panel presentations and oral abstracts. Panel presentations are designed to maximize value and to attract attendees from differing backgrounds. Topics may be scientific, methodological, operational, or anything else likely to draw a large, diverse audience. You may submit a panel presentation with the topic of your choosing and create your own panel participants.

Deadlines and Procedures
- Submission were accepted through Wednesday, November 24, 2021, 11:59:59 pm PT.
- You may submit more than one panel presentation for review. However, each submission must be completed in full before a new submission can be started.
- Acknowledgment of receipt of submission will be sent to the presenting author's email upon completion of submission.
- The Conference Planning Committee reserves the right to accept or decline all submissions.
- Submitters will be notified of acceptance status by Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
- All presenters are required to register for the Conference by Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
Late Breaker Submitters
- Late Breaker Submissions will be accepted through Friday, February 11, 2022, 11:59:59 pm PT.
- Submitters will be notified of acceptance status by Monday, February 28, 2022.
- All presenters are required to register for the Conference by Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
Online Submission
All abstracts and panel presentations must be submitted via the online submission system on the conference website.
Please carefully review your presentation prior to finalizing your submission. You must click “Save” for the presentation to be submitted. If you do not click “Save” on the final submission screen, the presentation is not considered submitted and will not be reviewed.
Edits to the presentation were allowed online after a submission was created until the deadline of 11:59pm PT on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Editing a submitted presentation required you to log in via your submitted email address and provide the passcode that you created when you began the submission process.
Acceptance of Submissions
Compliance with all stated conditions including adherence to the deadline is required. Acknowledgment of receipt of submissions will be sent via email upon submission.
All presenters must register no later than Tuesday, March 1, 2022 for their presentation to be published in the conference materials and included in the conference agenda. Presenters not registered by this deadline will be removed from the conference proceedings.
Individuals submitters agree that if their presentation is accepted, they will attend the conference and present as scheduled. If a change in the presenters’ ability to present occurs, the presenter is asked to contact the conference organizer immediately at HCSRN@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com.
Panel Presentation
Panel Presentation Formatting and Content Requirements
- Presentation titles are limited to 150 characters.
- Titles should be entered in Title Case. Title case has a capital letter for the start of every significant word – where words such as “and”, “of”, “the” and “a” are not counted as significant. This is an Example of Title Case. Do not enter information in all capital letters.
- The panel description is limited to 300 words – 150 words for the presentation summary and 150 words for the key objectives.
Abstracts
Abstract Formatting and Content Requirements
- Abstract titles are limited to 150 characters.
- Titles should be entered in Title Case. Title case has a capital letter for the start of every significant word – where words such as “and”, “of”, “the” and “a” are not counted as significant. This is an Example of Title Case. Do not enter information in all capital letters.
- Section headers (background, methods, results, conclusion) will be electronically formatted by conference organizers. You do not need to include these titles in your abstract.
- The abstract text is limited to 300 words. Words exceeding 300 words will be removed from the submission.
- The Conference Planning Committee reserves the right to accept and determine the presentation format, or decline all abstracts. If your abstract is not accepted for an oral presentation, it may still be accepted for a poster presentation.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in an online supplement publication selected by the Conference Planning Committee.
Publication
Accepted abstracts will be published in the HCSRN 2022 materials and as an open access online supplement. Authors consent to abstract publication in conference materials and as an open-access online supplement.
Copyright
By submitting an abstract, authors and co-authors transfer any copyrights and grant permission to HCSRN 2022 and agree that the submitted abstract can be published in the conference materials and shared broadly. Abstracts will not be published or made public until one week prior to the start of the conference.
